What is GROW THE CULTURE?
GROW THE CULTURE is a Tokyo-based label and collective.
In order to further develop Tokyo's underground dance music scene and build a foundation for the dance music community in Asia, they are active in various ways such as organizing outdoor festivals, club events, and running a record label.
With a focus on UK bass music, their genre-defying, borderless attitude and direction are attracting attention not only in Tokyo but also from Asia and Europe.

A Tokyo based DJ and producer.
Deeply influenced by UK rooted sound system music, particularly the unique energy of Jungle and Drum & Bass, he began his career in 2015.
In 2021, he co founded GROW THE CULTURE alongside maidable, focusing on outdoor and club events, label releases, and brand development.
Driven by a desire to create something truly original within Asia's underground scene, he continues to push the culture forward.

A Tokyo based creator.
After working as a staff member at a DJ bar, she joined GROW THE CULTURE as part of its behind the scenes support team.
For OPEN AIR, she oversees the bar operations while also leading the planning and production of merchandise.
Shee reflects the experiences and perspectives gained through GROW THE CULTURE in her own creative practice, while bringing the ideas developed through her personal work back into the collective's merchandise, continually striving for more meaningful forms of expression.

Inspired by 1990s UK bass music, particularly Jungle and Drum & Bass, he has dedicated himself to collecting and playing vinyl records.
Drawn to GROW THE CULTURE by its commitment to exploring dance music culture, he joined the collective and continues to explore the emotional impulses of Drum & Bass and Jungle through his DJ sets.
